Orlando, FL – April 7, 2015 –

The Daily Meal, a website that produces more culinary content than any other resource through articles, videos, and special reports, recently announced the “101 Best Restaurants in America.”  NORMAN’S at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, was chosen as one of the 101 Best Restaurants in America, only one of two Florida restaurants to make the list.

“We are very pleased to join in this superb list of the Best Restaurants in America.  It is an honor to be one of only two in our state of Florida and in the Top 101 nationwide. We strive to do our best each day and night and wish to deserve this fine award this year and, hopefully, every year,” said Chef Norman Van Aken, Founder and Co-Owner of NORMAN’S at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes.

The Daily Meal sites on their page how they go about compiling this list of amazing restaurants throughout the United States.  The Daily Meal drew up their first 101 List in 2011 by asking the editors where they like to eat and where would they send friends to eat.  They now include previous winners and nominees, along with suggestions from readers, restaurant experts and critics.  In 2014, they ended up with 590 restaurants to consider (up from 430 in 2013) ranging the entire United States.
